TAG: How Much Is Your Face Worth?

I saw this tag on beautifulkayekie’s blog and immediately googled for other peoples’ “How Much Is Your Face Worth” posts! This has got to be one of the most interesting tags I’ve seen. The name is pretty self-explanatory but there are two variations I’ve seen. In the first, you take a recent photo of yourself and add up the products you used in that particular look. The other variation just asks you to take the products you use on a daily basis, which is what I’ve chosen to to.

I don’t use every single one of these items everyday (I sometimes skip bronzer and eyeliner, for example) and I do have less expensive alternatives for blush and mascara, but these are the items I would repurchase if I lost my entire makeup collection (which happens to be another tag, but you have to limit your selection to 10 items). Here’s my answer to this tag:

1. VMV Hypoallergenics Skintangible SPF 35 – 1,050.00 php

2. MUD Blue and Red Correctors – 800.00 php each → 1,600 php

3. K Palette Zero Kuma Concealer (type 1) – 850.00 php

4. Palgantong Theatrical Powder – 600.00 php [could actually stand to remove this]

5. MAC Mineralize Skinfinish (Medium Dark) – 1,300 php [purchased at US price]

6. Eyeshadows from Shu Uemura (750.00), theBalm (approx. 200.00), and Laura M. (800.00) – 1,750

7. NARS Blush (Oasis) – 1,450.00 php

8. theBalm Bahama Mama matte bronzer – 750.00 php

9. Revlon Photoready 3D Volume Mascara – 700.oophp

10. NYX Slide on Pencils – 350.00 php each [counted as one, since I only use black or brown]

11. Revlon Lip Butter (Pink Truffle) – approx. 500.00 php

12. Jack Black Lip Balm – [this was a gift! but it’s worth…] 800.00php

TOTAL: 10, 950. 00 php [that’s around 260.00 US Dollars]

YIKES. This is the part where I start feeling really guilty about how much I spend on makeup… I can’t even afford to buy all of these in one go! Haha. Again, I could probably choose more budget-friendly items, but these are some of my most trusted products. I might do an evening version of this, since the products for evening makeup are very different. I’d have to pick a full coverage foundation (with no SPF), use a matte powder to set, add a highlighter, and go with heavier shadows, lipsticks, and eyeliners. It would be interesting to see if that total comes out higher. :) What do you think?

This was a fun tag (and my first one, too)! I tag everyone who reads this! :) Share a link in the comments section if you do this tag or have done it already. :)
